Work in progress

I decided to bite the bullet and install the new fan today on my hard drive.  I did so, it sounded beautiful for a few minutes, but then after a little while it began to make some horrible noises.  Apparently the screws were hitting the fan blades, so I had to loosen two of them.  It's a work in progress, I guess.  I need to open it up again tomorrow and see what truly made it sound so awful, but at least there's a new fan in it.  That much makes me happy.
