I just went and bought a shuffle. I was considering getting the 1 GB nano since I would've liked having a screen and click wheel and such, but the 512 MB shuffle won me over with the price. A 76 dollar iPod after taxes? Why the hell not buy it? I've got some extra cash...

And that's exactly what Apple wants people to think. And I bought into it.

But it's an amazing little product. I like the feel of it. And the sound is much better than on other iPods. I'm surprised that something like this can be that cheap.

Now this isn't to say that my shuffle is going to replace my 10 GB 3G iPod. I love that fucking thing. I just needed something that I could use when the batteries die on that thing, which happen quite often. But I don't know how often I may find myself using it now that I've got the shuffle. I guess I'll see. It may end up that I use the 10 GB iPod more often.
